TECH PET CARE POLICIES
Minimum visit:
All pets must be seen a minimum of once per day (for cats, birds and small animals). Dogs will need a minimum of 2 times a day, preferably 3 times daily
Special Needs Pets:
If your pet needs medication or has special needs, I will be happy to accommodate those needs. You are responsible to fully disclose all conditions that may impact your pet’s health. Emergency visits and hours spent coordinating a sick pet’s needs will be billed subject to the needs and the requirements to maintain your pet’s life. A refundable deposit may be required if your pet is sick or in failing health on your departure. I have experience with all age ranges and requirements, from puppies through hospice.
I give injections, administer Sub Q fluids, give medications (as prescribed by your Veterinarian), and much more.
Dangerous/Aggressive Animals:
The temperament of each animal regardless of prior history; will be evaluated, and I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Fleas and other Parasites:
I have a policy in place to have your pet(s) free of parasites. Please make sure your pet is on a current flea and tick program. If your pet has fleas or ticks an application of Frontline or Advantage will be applied. A CapStar will be given orally (very safe medication that kills adult fleas within 30 minutes). And you will be charged for the treatment.
Household and Pet Supplies:
Please leave the appropriate quantity needed during you absence. If extra supplies are needed we will purchase them and a reimbursement for the items will apply.
Payment/Refund:
50% is due on booking with full payment due the day prior to your departure. Fees for regular service are due prior to service. Monthly services are due on the first of the month.

Returned Checks:
A charge of $35 will be imposed for each check returned by the client’s bank regardless of the reason.
Cancellations:
Non-holiday- We understand that plans may change. TechPetCare will not charge a cancellation fee of client gives adequate notice of such cancellation, which is 48 hours or more.
Holiday- At Thanksgiving and Christmas, there will be a cancellation charge of ½ of the scheduled visits.
Keys:
TechPetCare will retain two sets of keys to your home in our office. If keys must be returned, there will be a $10 charge for their return.
Confirmation:
Client must telephone or e-mail 48 hours prior to scheduled departure to confirm reservation.
Return Home Calls:
Please remember to call when you have returned home safely. This will confirm the safety and well being of your pet(s). If I don’t hear from you I will stop by and there will be a surcharge.
